There is absolutely no need to use inhumane traps like glue traps to catch mice when there are perfectly good alternatives that will catch the mice just as effectively but without killing them. Using these inhumane traps is just wrong anyway, but considering the fact that there are other, more humane alternatives that can be used, it makes sense that glue traps and such like should be banned, as they are unnecessary and cruel.

Any inhumane traps are wrong no matter how they kill the animal, but glue traps are just unspeakably horrible.

I think that any sort of inhumane traps should be banned as they are extremely mean to animals. There are other ways to catch a mouse which doesnt hurt it , such as box traps. Glue traps are the worst though, as they kill the mouse slowly, even the traps that chop off their heads are better, as it kills them quickly. But i dont think that mice should be killed for raiding a house, at the end of the day they are protecting themselves and trying to get food for themselves and their families. Imagen if you were one of them. Poor mice. Hope glue traps get banned and are not allowed to be used because it is ANIMAL CRUELTY :@ MEAN!! :( Love Youu RSPCA, You Are Doing A Great Job!! x <3 x

At first I thought surely these shouldn't be an issue and I thought they were just used to capture the animal and then release them later. When I found out the risk to the poor animals i felt that they really shouldn't be allowed. As much as I am against other forms of traps such as mouse traps as they are inhumane at the end of the day they are better than glue traps as at least they kill the mouse quickly and don't give them a long suffering death. These traps should not be used. what is wrong with the box traps that traps the mouse and the mouse can then be released into the wild?
